Phyllis Hedgepeth

Senior Human Resource Leader at XPO Logistics  Phyllis has over 18 years of human resources experience directing various functions of human resources. Her specialties include employee relations, performance management, training/organizational development,  leadership development, talent management, health and wellness program administration, workplace diversity, and transition planning for potential acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures - to name a few. 

She has worked as the Senior Human Resources Manager for companies such as Direct Energy, Texas-New Mexico Power Company, First Choice Power, and TIG Specialty Insurance Solutions. 

Phyllis holds a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Danny Noall

Founder and CEO of Infuze Water Bottle   While taking an entrepreneurship class, the company’s founder was tasked with creating a unique business plan to launch a new product, and from that idea his company, Infuze Hydration, was born. Infuze Hydration is changing the way that people stay hydrated. The Infuze Vessel allows you to go back and forth from water to flavor at the turn of a dial. You can use any type of concentrated liquid enhancer or Infuze Elixir. Based out of a retail location in Logan, Infuze products are also now being sold around the world.

Founder and CEO of Bar Pass and Startup Bootkamp  Phil has won awards like 35 Under 35, Startup of the Year, Big Idea Awards, Chicago Innovation, etc. Also, he has been featured in Forbes, Inc., Huffington Post, Crain’s, ABC, Tribune, BuzzFeed, TastyTrade, BuiltIn, ChicagoInno, RedEye, Voyage, etc.

Phil is a serial entrepreneur and startup veteran from Chicago. Launched multiple successful small businesses of his own and worked for multiple venture-backed startups since 2008.

Jerry Greenwell

Chief Executive Officer CPS HR Consulting   Jerry Greenwell is the Chief Executive Officer of CPS HR Consulting. He has over 35 years of experience in the public human and social services fields, with over 30 years of professional human resource management experience. Mr. Greenwell has expertise in the areas of training and staff development, performance management, recruitment and selection, change management and organizational development.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Utah, and a Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Development from John F. Kennedy University. He has been certified as a professional in human resources (IPMA-SCP) by the International Personnel Management Association and by the Society for Human Resources Management (PHR). He is an alumnus of Leadership Sacramento and a fellow of the American Leadership Forum. Jerry also represents CPS as a member of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators Corporate Advisory Council.

Kevin Bowen

Consultant at The Spur Group Kevin’s mission is to serve the true needs of others, acting in alignment with his belief that every individual has equal and infinite worth. He lives this out by empowering employees to discover and realize their best selves, build and deepen relationships, and understand and live out their life’s purpose.

Kevin works full time as a marketing and communications consultant, helping Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, Microsoft, and Cisco bring their offerings to life. He has also spent the past 3+ years developing and executing internal Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategies and programs to ensure all employees can flourish personally and professionally. 

Kevin seeks to create permanent, positive change by showing leaders the value of taking a human-centered approach to business operations and competition in the market. His approach relies heavily on the collecting and acting on employee feedback and measuring and reporting on environmental, social, and ethical performance across industry-specific benchmarks. 

Most recently he was featured in the Entrepreneur article “Yes, There Can Still Be Positive Workplace Disruption” by Dr. Patti Fletcher, Vice President of Brand Marketing at WorkHuman.

Kimberly Oden

Associate Director of College Counseling   Kimberly Oden is the Associate Director of College Counseling at an independent high school in Los Angeles,CA. She earned her B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Since 2002, she has served as a guidance counselor, director of counseling, and director of an academic program for underrepresented students with significant financial need.

She has served on committees for the NCAA, Western Association of College Admission Counselors (WACAC) and National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and has given numerous presentations at WACAC and NACAC conferences on college athletic recruiting. Prior to college counseling, Kimberly enjoyed a decorated athletic career as an NCAA Division 1 Women’s Volleyball student-athlete, a two-time Olympian and a professional indoor volleyball player in Italy, Brazil, Turkey and China.

After her playing career, she was an assistant coach for NCAA Division 1 women’s volleyball programs at Stanford University, Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Iowa State University.

Mike Hendron

Interim director of the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology and Associate Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Marriott School of Business, BYU Mike has worked at BYU since 2008, and has been involved in the entrepreneurship center since 2017, recently taking on the interim director role. He has worked extensively with the undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs including mentoring student entrepreneurs and teams as one of his primary focuses.

Mike has run his own consulting practice, and has an online educational simulation software business as well. His consulting work focused on innovation and growth strategies for technology and consumer products firms ranging from venture-backed startups to global Fortune 500 brands.

Mike also worked in the Silicon Valley operations of the global trading firm Kanematsu, where he helped US technology companies expand to markets in Asia. Mike holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.B.A. with honors from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
